Item 10 provides some suggested books about Welwyn Garden City

Dozens of erudite books on Howard’s ideas and the place of garden cities in town planning are available but the following suggestions may be of interest as they are both aimed at the general reader.

For a biography of Ebenezer Howard see; “Ebenezer Howard” by John Moss- Eccardt. Shire Publications 1973.
On garden cities;  “English Garden Cities, an introduction” by Mervyn Miller. English Heritage 2010 is an excellent short well illustrated summary.
“Welwyn Garden City: a town designed for healthy living”, by Maurice de Soissons 1987 remains the standard very detailed history.
