Festival of Music and Performing Arts with the Welwyn Garden City Centenary

Festival of Music and Performing Arts News

Are you able to come and help us?

The Festival of Music and Performing Arts Project Team has been busy getting in touch with a wide variety of music, drama and dance organisations throughout Welwyn Garden City. Responses are very encouraging, as many have indicated their intention to be involved, either as part of a Festival, or as a single event. We are fortunate to have such a wide pool of talent in the area. Discussions are also in progress with others of international fame. It’s all looking rather exciting!

There is still much to do, and the Team is looking for more active members to ensure that all leads are followed up and the opportunity for everyone to join the festivities isn’t lost. Meetings are held monthly and a draft calendar of events is under development.

We look forward to hearing from you at festival@wgc100.org or info@wgc100.org.

As a reminder, if you plan to be part of the celebrations, the Centenary Foundation can provide some support, publicity on the website, and of course, you may choose to promote your event with the Centenary Foundation logo.
