Centenary Walk

Centenary Walk Waymarkers being installed.

The Walk team have started the process of installing waymarkers for the circular walk.  We have some 400 signs to install – a combination of roundels to be nailed to wooden posts, metal fingerposts at road crossings, and stickers to go onto metal posts.

We put the first set of roundels up in Sherrardspark Woods on 26th/27th October, which has already attracted lots of favourable attention.

The next are ones due to go up at Stanborough Lakes on 2nd/3rd November.  You will see these signs appearing around the rest of the circuit over the coming weeks.

In addition, the team are working on a walk leaflet that will illustrate the circuit and highlight the points of interest to be found along the way.
