Natural Welwyn Garden City launches two of our signature projects which celebrate the wonderful green space and nature which the town is so lucky to enjoy.

Our City of Trees project celebrates the 19,000 trees across the town and introduces four brand new walks.

Our Centenary Walk is a 20.20km circular walk embracing Ebenezer Howard’s vision of  ‘a marriage of town and country’

Come and meet our teams at The Howard Centre on Saturday 14 March from 9am – 5pm when you will be able to find out more about enjoying Welwyn Garden City’s wonderful green spaces, and pick up leaflets and information about the new walks.

Other organisations taking part will be:

  • Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust
  • The Woodland Trust
  • Sherrardspark Wood Wardens
  • Herts Countryside Management Service
  • Herts Health Walks
  • Digswell Lake Society
  • Welwyn and Hatfield Rotary Clubs
